Today’s show was fun. As is typical recently, Obamacare dominated the conversation.

We also talked about Nancy Pelosi’s 3-20-10 stunt to malign the tea partiers protesting the Obamacare vote, and Harry Reid’s egg throwers in Nevada who protested the tea party there.

I encourage everyone to attend a tea party this April 15th. You can see a list of what is happening in Massachusetts here. If you are not in the Commonwealth, there are tea parties happening all over the country. I am returning to DC, and hope to get to see Senator Scott Brown while I am there.

We then talked a bit about the growing scandal between public sector jobs and private sector jobs. The private sector works to pay taxes so those in the public sector can take home 45% more pay and benefits that are on average 70% better than what we get in the private sector. My sentiment remains – fire all of them and start over or at least demand a huge reduction.

We talked about Congress bullying of companies complaining about the huge costs of the health care bill. Those costs will of course be added to what we as consumers pay. Henry Waxman (D-CA) has demanded hearings to beat down the execs who dare criticize this bill.

There was more. Enjoy!

Sorry about the lateness of this entry – it slipped my mind in this holiday season

Tuesday’s show started with a discussion of the MA senate race – Martha Coakley v Scott Brown. Both Dick and I were chagrined that Brown has not come out more forcefully as the 41st vote against Obamacare.

We also talked about Gubernatorial candidate Tim Cahill’s use of nearly $400,000.00 of state money to pay lawyers to defend him against contract rigging allegations concerning the state lottery.

We talked about the President’s tanking approval ratings (46% strong disapproval), the sharp downward revised GDP and other economic bummers.

Nevertheless the hour flew by, and some Christmas cheer actually surfaced before we were done.
