Yeah right, a cartoon in the middle of a Boston paper constitutes the National Press doing its job. And the Press was in love with Ronald Reagan? How you keep your feistiness under check when hearing such stuff I do not know. Keep hammering Jane. Nice to see the scales start to fall from Dick's eyes concerning Obama. And when I hear Dick continue to maintain that all politicians and both parties are exactly the same, I am reminded that the very first thing the Gingrich Revolution of 1994 did was to give The President the power ofthe Line Item Veto so that he could delete Congressional Pork saddled onto spending and budget bills? Sure it wound up being un-Constitutional, but could Dick possibly imagine a Democratic Congress ever coming up with that Legislation? and with a Dem President in power at the time.? Impossible. You do fine Jane. You fight the good fight and are a pleasure to listen to.
PS, Todays volcanic ash cloud, which allowed me to stay home and catch your show, went south and clobbered the Kenai. And hearing me mentioned today made me think of Steve Martin's character in "The Jerk"; "I'm in the phone book!!!, I'm in the phone Book"!!!
Please tell Dick, good Yaz baseball story.
