FWDAJ 2-24-09 – Cancelled
by Jane on Feb.24, 2009, under Uncategorized
FWDAJ was canceled today due to Jane (that would be me) visiting the emergency room. I’m fine.
If any of you have gone through the check in process at a hospital you may recall they ask you a litany of questions, such as: “Do you feel at risk in your home?”
Today the woman checking me in asked a new mandatory question:
“Do you feel at risk for anyone interfering with your financial affairs?”
I perked up and replied: “Yes, the President and the Congress, and I want you to write that down.”

I am sorry to hear this. I was unable to make it to the station today and I tuned in and nothing. Hope you feel better.
BTW that bit about the president and congress is the funnest thing I have heard you say.

Jane: “…they ask you a litany of questions, such as: ‘Do you feel at risk in your home?’”
Wow, Massachusetts is really thorough! They don’t ask anything even vaguely like that down here. They just ask for your symptoms and insurance card.

Massachusetts has mandatory health care. My premiums have doubled in order to get that question asked. It’s a government thing. Don’t worry, it’s coming to a hospital near you.
