FWDAJ Podcast 2-3-09

Dick moves to the right in today’s podcast – to the point where by the end of the hour I asked him why he is a democrat.
We talk about Daschle – before he withdraws his nomination, President Obama’s second week in office, Iraq successes, General Petreaus, Obama’s move toward socialism, the bail-out bill, President Obama’s pessimism, and Michael Steele.
Enjoy!

I think I’ve already told you that Dick doesn’t sound particularly lefty to me, although my wife has since pointed out that my idea of “liberal” is West Coast, and you Yankees are your own breed of cat. So I’m not sure why he’s a Democrat at this point… habit, perhaps?
Gotta say, Dick deserves kudos for showing a little more restraint and letting you speak more freely this week.

Oh this state is full of moonbats – but for the most part the democrat party in MA is built on the issue of “choice”. I voted democrat every election (except Reagan) and I voted on one issue alone – choice. At this point I am completely ambivalent about that issue. I can’t quite say I’m anti-choice, but I think the government ought to get out of the issue completely. And with all the people in this country dying to adopt, I wish people would make more responsible choices.

Jane it is great to see this blog and the podcast of the show. Although I may not always agree with you I am glad to have your voice out there “crying in the wilderness” hang in there.
